Pet first aid as suggested by the American Veterinary Medical Association
The digital flyer below has suggestions to help when your pet is choking, not breathing, or has no heartbeat. There are also suggestions for procedures if your pet is poisoned, having seizures or injured.
Additional suggestions include procedures if your pet is bleeding, has been burned, has a heat stroke and signs of a heat stroke, as well as what to do if your pet is snake bitten.
Also very important is a list of items that are suggested to go into a pet first aid kit. One can be put together easily or can be ordered already assembled. There are numerous options available.
Be aware, be prepared and stay safe.
